DRK Campaign – Paper Dreams

The DRK Forum Theater Group – Doctors of the Street messengers of Art- with the Theater of the Opressed Lisbon Group worked directly with disadvantaged populations that create shows based on real situations they experience, and which are later presented to the community. Over the years the group has been bringing to the stage the aesthetic reflection on their stories and life experiences. Experiences felt, lived and based on 3 concepts that have accompanied their growth as people and citizens. Concepts that confuse, oppress and confront them in their daily lives: Naturalness, Naturalization and Nationality. At Teatro Fórum, the spectator is encouraged to enter the scene to improvise, as protagonist, alternative solutions to the staged problem.
